What a flash is
A flash is a public signal, and no money moves. Firefly has no vault, no fee split and no automatic buyback.
Buying during a flash brings nothing: no bonus, no reward, no better place. The flash is never a reason to buy.
What it measures
The clock measures activity, not demand. Buying and selling in a loop winds a clock, at the cost of the trading fees. A public next-flash counter also attracts bots.
What is live today
- Launching a coin on Stonks, on all 23 pairs, when launches are open.
- The marshes list the coins really released on firefly.
- Not connected yet: coin clocks, flashes, sync figures and Grand Flashes from real trades. The swarms you see on this site are simulated and marked as such.
- Not shown yet: that real coins synchronise. The mathematics is proven for networks where everyone is linked to everyone, not for sparse ones.
What a launch costs
- Each trade on Stonks: 1% to StonkFun, 0.25% to Raydium, 0% to the creator, 0% to firefly.
- Network fees and rent, around 0.03 SOL.
- Your first buy, if you choose one, typed in SOL.
- Any launch fee is shown in the recap before you sign. There is none today.
First buy on a pair other than SOL
Your wallet signs two transactions: a swap from SOL to the pair through Jupiter, then the launch. They aren't atomic. If the swap lands and the launch fails, the pair stays in your wallet and the next try uses it. If your wallet already holds enough of the pair, there is no swap and the first buy spends what you hold. The swap allows 1% to 2% slippage, and the launch spends the guaranteed minimum, so a small remainder of the pair can stay in your wallet.
Your wallet, your coin
You sign in your own wallet and you are the coin's creator. Firefly keeps no funds and never sees your keys. Names, tickers and images are the launcher's own: firefly doesn't vouch for any coin.
Risk
Memecoins can lose all their value. Nothing here is financial advice.
